  This was my first visit to this Slug and Lettuce. I was particularly taken with the building, which I understand is an old church. The bartender did not understand my questions re the building, I then ordered a glass of red wine, asking him which type of wine was on offer. he replied "small, medium or large". I did not stay any longer...

  Not impressed. WiFi required registration so didn't use. Quite expensive for food. They got the bill wrong. Put a £3.15 pint on we didn't have.

  We booked my daughter's 30th birthday party upstairs here and the staff could not have been more helpful! From arranging the decorations to ensuring that the bar was readily stocked and that only the people we knew came into the area. A great evening and would definitely recommend as a fabulous party venue as they can literally cater for all needs
